Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist in Charge)

Location: Nacogdoches, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No Weekends, Evenings, or Major Holidays)

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a compassionate, patient-centric Pharmacy Manager to lead and grow a new pharmacy location in partnership with a health center. This role offers the chance to work closely with providers, support underserved patient populations, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant pharmacy services.

This position is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys leadership, collaboration, and building strong clinical relationships while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety
• Provide medication education and support to patients, including chronic and specialty conditions
• Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists and technicians
• Foster a positive, patient-focused team culture
• Collaborate with clinic providers and participate in clinical meetings
• Oversee pharmacy operations, including:
• Regulatory compliance
• Quality assurance
• Inventory and workflow management
• Financial performance and loss prevention
• Customer service and patient satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations

Required Education & Licensure

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
• All required federal and state credentialing

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of pharmacist experience
• 3+ years of pharmacy management experience
• Retail pharmacy leadership experience preferred
• 340B experience a plus (not required)
• Immunization certification and vaccination administration preferred
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Experience with growth planning and pharmacy expansion

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Fine motor skills for repetitive hand motions (keyboard/phone)
• Ability to hear, speak, and communicate clearly
