Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to overall productivity and safety.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding workplace safety, quality standards, and productivity goals.
  • ·Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment and systems in a timely manner.
  • Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep. Address any issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Complete work orders and ensure proper documentation for future reference.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to address maintenance needs and support operational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay current on all operation techniques and safety guidelines.
  • Efficiently perform tasks and assignments as directed by leadership, assuring adherence to company standards and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • · High school diploma or equivalent.
