Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for mold setup, process start-up and shutdown, troubleshooting, and optimizing molding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups, start-ups, shutdowns, and mold changes in accordance with established procedures
• Troubleshoot molding processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment to resolve quality and performance issues
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal cycle times and part quality
• Support process validation activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively across shifts regarding machine status, process changes, and production updates
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve equipment and mold-related issues
• Train and mentor operators, technicians, and material handlers as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify and resolve process-related issues efficiently
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
• Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with injection mold setup and process optimization
• Knowledge of hot runner and cold runner systems
• Familiarity with scientific or decoupled molding principles
• Experience with automation systems and auxiliary equipment
• Technical certifications (e.g., RJG or similar) are a plus
