Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-time

3Z Brands has an exciting opportunity for a Kentucky based sales professional

Direct hire or 1099 candidates will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with mattress retailers, furniture stores, sleep shops, and other retail partners within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand distribution and increase market share.
  • Conduct in-store product training and demonstrations for retail sales associates to ensure strong product knowledge and effective customer selling.
  • Support retail partners with merchandising, product placement, and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Monitor retail floor displays to ensure proper product presentation and compliance with company merchandising standards.
  • Collaborate with retail partners on sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and inventory planning.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and regional market events to promote the company’s products and identify potential new accounts.
  • Train Retail Sales Associate on 3Z Brands product attributes and consumer sales techniques.
  • Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address service or product concerns.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, territory updates, and forecasting information to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging sleep technology innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience within:
  • Mattress or bedding industry
  • Furniture or home furnishings
  • Consumer durable goods
  • Retail wholesale distribution
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing retail accounts or dealer networks strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of retail sales environments and merchandising practices.
  • Knowledge of mattress products, sleep systems, or home furnishings is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently within an assigned territory.
  • This position requires regular travel to retail stores, showrooms, warehouses, and trade events throughout the assigned territory. Travel may include automobile transportation and occasional air travel.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk retail floors during store visits and product demonstrations.
  • Occasional lifting and movement of materials or display items up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or reach when assisting with merchandising or product displays.
