Job Description

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a rural New Mexico hospital as a Night Hospitalist.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for a low-volume nocturnist position with strong overnight support, flexible scheduling, and an outstanding work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Flexible schedules available:
  • 7 on / 7 off
  • 10 on / 10 off
  • 14 on / 14 off
• W2 or 1099 employment
• One-year contract
• Anticipated start: October 1, 2026

Clinical Practice

• 12-bed inpatient unit
• Average of only 1–3 admissions per night
• Telemedicine physician support available overnight
• Family Medicine physicians may manage pediatric and OB patients
• Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply; telemedicine pediatric support is available when needed
• No ICU currently, with plans to add a 3-bed open ICU in the near future

Compensation

• Approximately $175/hour
