We are currently seeking a Z2_Pega Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

The  Pega Senior Systems Architect (SSA)is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑quality Pega applications in complex enterprise environments. This role plays a critical part in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring adherence to Pega guardrails, architectural standards, and non‑functional requirements. The SSA provides hands‑on technical leadership and mentors junior architects and developers.

Key Responsibilities

Pega Solution Design & Development

  • Design and develop end‑to‑end Pega applications covering  case management, data modeling, UI, integrations, and decisioning
  • Translate functional and non‑functional requirements into  scalable, reusable Pega rule implementations
  • Ensure strict adherence to  Pega guardrails, performance best practices, and enterprise architecture guidelines
  • Actively contribute to  LLD creation, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs

Technical Leadership & Governance

  • Provide technical guidance to developers and junior system architects
  • Conduct  code reviews , enforce quality standards, and ensure maintainable design patterns
  • Support  architecture alignment with LSAs and enterprise architects
  • Drive compliance with security, performance, and resiliency requirements

Integration & Data Management

  • Design and implement integrations using  REST, SOAP, Kafka/MQ, JDBC, and external APIs
  • Build and optimize  Data Pages, Report Definitions, Declarative rules, and Data Transforms
  • Collaborate with DB and platform teams for performance tuning and data optimization

Performance, Stability & Support

  • Proactively identify and resolve  performance bottlenecks
  • Support production issues through root‑cause analysis and permanent fixes
  • Ensure application readiness for  UAT, go‑live, and post‑production stability

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Participate in  Sprint Planning, Refinement, Show & Tell, and Retrospectives
  • Work closely with  Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Infra teams
  • Contribute to effort estimation, risk identification, and delivery commitments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–9+ years of hands‑on experience in  Pega PRPC / Pega Infinity (v8.x and above)
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Case Management & Workflows
    • Integrations (REST/SOAP/Messaging)
    • Data Modeling & Decision Rules
    • UI (Cosmos / UI Kit)
  • Solid understanding of  performance tuning, security, and scalability
  • Experience working in  Agile / SAFe delivery models
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Certifications

  • ✅  Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)– Mandatory
  • CSA / CPDC / other Pega certifications – Added advantage

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to  cloud‑hosted Pega deployments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure/AWS)
  • Experience in  financial services, mobility, or regulatory‑driven domains
  • Knowledge of  CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration with Pega
  • Prior experience in  production support and performance stabilization
