Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and promptly to maintain continuity of care
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs according to practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• You are a graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• You hold an active Florida PT license or are ready to obtain one
• You bring strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• You are flexible and adapt easily to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and direct patient care
• Clinical skills to develop and update individualized plans of care
• Experience supervising PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families
• Documentation practices that are accurate, timely, and compliant
• Understanding of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
