Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire a Staff Accountant in Scottsdale, Arizona! Staff Accountant $60,000-$63,000 base salary (depending on experience) Scottsdale, AZ (5 days onsite) Perks and Opportunities: Opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience and grow your career with a growing organization. Responsibilities include: Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial record maintenance. Support daily accounting operations, including billing, invoicing, transaction processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinate billing information and payment activity to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. Maintain organized accounting documentation, schedules, and supporting records. Assist with payroll processing and related accounting functions. Partner with the accounting team on special projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required). 0-1 years of accounting, finance, or relevant internship experience (Preferred) Intermediate Excel skills (Preferred) QuickBooks experience or exposure (Preferred) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
