Job Description

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming communications, and supporting day-to-day administrative needs to ensure a positive and organized office environment.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY 6 WEEK POSITION, COVERING A MEDICAL LEAVE

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipping, including coordinating deliveries and pickups
  • Place and coordinate catering orders for meetings, events, and office functions
  • Order and maintain office supplies; monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
  • Support general administrative tasks and assist with special projects as requested
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and standard office software
  • Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
