Provider Support Specialist (W2 Contract)

We are partnering with a large healthcare company to hire a Provider Support Specialist for a 6-month W2 contract opportunity. This role is hybrid in Lehi, UT , with an expectation of 2 days onsite per week .

Additional Details

• Contract Length: 6 months (W2)
• Pay Rate: $23 to $25 per hour
• Location: Lehi, UT (2 days onsite per week)
• Training: First 3 weeks are required training. No time off is permitted during this period
• Assessment: A brief assessment is required as part of the interview process

This position is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare operations, insurance, or claims who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with provider offices.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers and their staff
• Respond to provider inquiries via phone and messaging in a timely and professional manner
• Investigate and resolve complex issues related to:
• Claims status and processing
• Benefits and eligibility
• Prior authorizations and coordination of benefits
• Billing and cost-sharing questions
• Verify and communicate patient eligibility and coverage details
• Accurately document all interactions in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal teams such as claims and operations to resolve issues
• Identify trends and contribute to process improvements
• Educate providers on tools and best practices to improve efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, insurance, or medical claims
• Strong understanding of claims, eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid setting
• Familiarity with HIPAA and handling sensitive information
