Product Owner

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76155 (Hybrid- 3 days onsite a week)

Duration: 8+ months

Pay Rate: $61/hr on W2

1 virtual interview + 1 in-person interview

Position Overview

Join as a Product Owner to drive technical product vision, roadmaps, and delivery for platforms and systems. You'll bridge business needs with engineering, ensure compliance, prioritize backlogs, and foster innovation in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate compelling technical product visions; develop and manage roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture, business goals, and sustainability.
• Act as primary liaison between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy laws, and regulations.
• Lead backlog refinement, prioritization for technical features, enhancements, and infrastructure; balance technical debt, scalability, and business value.
• Gather stakeholder insights to identify pain points and convert feedback into actionable technical solutions.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and design teams to deliver products, facilitate decisions, and remove roadblocks.
• Define and track technical KPIs/OKRs for platform performance, reliability, and impact; leverage data for continuous improvement.
• Mentor Product Owners and teams in technical product management and Agile practices.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive platform innovation.
• Align products with architectural standards, enterprise priorities, and strategic goals, optimizing for scalability and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5+ years in product ownership/technical product management, delivering complex technical solutions.
• Proven Agile experience collaborating with engineering/architecture teams.
• Strong knowledge of platform development, SQL, data design, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
