Position Overview

A leading-edge operations team in robotics and automation is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support daily ground operations for an autonomous drone delivery program. This field-based role is focused on ground support—ensuring the safe and accurate transport of food orders between merchants and drone launch sites. (Note: This position does not include drone piloting responsibilities.)

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up prepared food orders from local merchants and transport them to the drone site using your personal vehicle.
• Prepare and load orders into drones, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety per established protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations in a fast-moving, test-driven environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to an efficient, organized workflow.
• Communicate routinely with engineering and cross-functional teams, providing ground-level feedback for continuous improvement.
• Adapt to evolving processes and identify opportunities to enhance operational excellence.
• Work collaboratively within a small, mission-driven team environment.
• Act as the on-the-ground point of contact, interacting professionally with merchants and community members.
• Maintain confidentiality—NDA and MVR (driving record) clearance required.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual work ethic with strong attention to detail and safety.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to learn new processes.
• Effective verbal communication and professionalism with merchants, teammates, and the public.
• Willingness to undergo an NDA and MVR background check.
