Job Description

Pay: $60,000.00 per year

Location: New York City (Midtown Manhattan). This is a 5 days in office role.

Note: Must have 3 plus year of law firm experience AND 2 plus year in an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or legal secretary type role (calendar management is a core part of the job).

Job Description

  • Manage busy attorney calendars, scheduling, and daily priorities (meetings, court dates, deadlines, reminders)
  • Coordinate calls, client meetings, and internal scheduling across multiple team members
  • Support litigation administration: organize matter files, track deadlines, and help keep cases moving
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, emails, and basic documents
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and outside parties (phone, email, in-person)
  • Assist with general office operations: intake support, scanning, filing, mail, and document organization
  • Jump in as a true right-hand support partner to attorneys and leadership as needs arise

Qualifications

  • 1 plus years of experience working in a law firm (any practice area is fine)
  • 1 plus years of executive assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or administrative support experience
  • Strong calendar management skills (multiple calendars, shifting priorities, reminders, follow-up)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech-comfortable: Outlook or Google Calendar, Word, PDF tools, and general office systems
