Job Description

HR Manager

Location: On-site | Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift
Compensation: $95,000-$115,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead Human Resources operations for a multi-state organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, leave management, talent development, and HR team leadership.

The ideal candidate has prior people leadership experience, strong employment law knowledge, and an HR certification.

The company is a business planning and consulting firm with a focus on providing high-quality tax and legal services to businesses. 

Responsibilities

HR Leadership

  • Lead and develop HR, Recruiting, and Training & Development team members.

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development.

  • Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.

  • Lead onboarding, compliance training, and new hire orientation.

  • Oversee performance review programs, including 90-day and annual reviews.

  • Manage third-party HR vendors and service providers.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters.

  • Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Maintain consistent documentation and policy administration.

  • Support audits and regulatory reporting.

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Manage employee benefits including:

  • Oversee:

    • Leave of Absence programs

  • Coordinate open enrollment and employee benefits education.

HRIS & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Paycom.

  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting.

  • Produce workforce analytics including headcount, turnover, and compliance metrics.

  • Support HR system improvements and process optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • HR certification required (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent).

  • 5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.

  • 2+ years leading or supervising an HR team.

  • Experience supporting a multi-state or national organization .

  • Strong background in:

    • Employee Relations

    • Workplace Investigations

    • FMLA

    • ADA

    • Leave of Absence Administration

    • Benefits Administration

    • HR Compliance

  • 5-7 years of experience with an HRIS platform such as Paycom, ADP, or Workday .

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
