Vernis & Bowling is seeking a motivated full-time receptionist for its DeLand office. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team. This is a path to becoming a legal assistant or paralegal!
Our receptionist will be the main point of contact for the firm and the first impression.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Handling A/P for client costs
-Comfortable answering incoming telephone calls
-Routing calls to appropriate individuals within the office
-Greeting clients and visitors
-Receiving, collecting, sorting, preparing and distributing mail
-Courier deliveries
-Forwarding all incoming faxes
-Entering data into the firm case management system
-cross training opportunities
-assist with other day to day duties as assigned
Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
