We’re hiring a part-time Dog Walker and looking to add one person immediately , with additional openings coming soon.Homeward Bound Dog Walking and Adventure Services has been serving the Lakes Region since 2011. We’re a small, supportive team that believes great dog care starts with caring for the people doing the work.
Schedule & Availability
• Monday through Friday
• Walks mostly between 11 AM and 2 PM
• Occasional visits as early as 9 AM or as late as 4 PM
• Looking for 2 to 5 weekdays per week
• Best fit for someone seeking at least a 6-month commitment
What You’ll Do
• Walk dogs safely on leash in all kinds of weather
• Drive between nearby visits
• Send short, friendly updates to clients after each visit
• Care for pups and respect clients’ homes
What We Offer
• Hourly pay plus tips
• Paid training and ongoing support
• Employee position, not independent contractor
What We’re Looking For
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels
• Reliable transportation - Must be comfortable using your own vehicle for work.
• Smartphone with data and a working camera
• Physically able to walk up to 5 miles per day and lift up to 45 lbs
• Dependable, kind, and communicative
No professional dog walking experience required. We provide paid training and clear guidance so you feel confident and supported.
