Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with a leading global organization, is looking for a Data Product Owner. The Data Product Owner will support enterprise data and digital initiatives within a global technology organization. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, data, and product strategy, partnering with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, user-focused data products. The ideal candidate will translate complex business and operational data needs into actionable product solutions that drive efficiency and decision-making.

  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, or Business/Data Analyst

  • Strong ability to bridge business and technical teams
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

  • Own and prioritize the data product backlog aligned to business and digital strategy
  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, finance, and business teams to define use cases and requirements
  • Translate business needs into user stories, data requirements, and product features
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Drive Agile ceremonies and ensure consistent product delivery
  • Help define and evolve data products (dashboards, data models, reporting layers, internal tools)
  • Support initiatives focused on data quality, governance, and standardization
  • Contribute to digital transformation efforts, including data-driven decision making and AI/analytics use cases
