Internship Opportunity: Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) Group – La Jolla, CA

We are seeking a current PhD student for a 10–12 week summer research internship.

Role:

• Use computational methods to investigate strategies for rapid hit expansion and exploration in early-stage drug discovery.
• Collaborate with a computational chemistry scientist in experimental design, execution, and analysis.
• Engage closely with the research and development team.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Graduate/MBA/PhD student (current enrollment required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Relevant coursework or experience in industrial/manufacturing or research environments preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and compliance standards
• Successful completion of required Safety & Environmental Training
• Must be able to work 8-hour days, 40-hour weeks
