Responsibilities for a Chaplain with Phoebe Chestnut Ridge at Rodale:

Responsible Responsibilities include planning and leading worship, devotionals, sacraments, and seasonal services; coordinating resident-led and community clergy participation; developing support groups as needed; building relationships with local clergy to help residents remain connected to their faith communities; managing Spiritual Life programming and related administrative duties; collaborating with staff on scheduling and communication; and assisting during emergencies, including providing or coordinating after-hours spiritual support.

Requirements for a Chaplain with Phoebe Chestnut Ridge at Rodale:

• The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
• Qualified candidates will preferably hold a master's degree from an accredited seminary or school of theology (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) ; have a minimum of two units of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• Possess at least three years of chaplaincy or related experience. Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) certification or eligibility for certification is strongly preferred.
